Youth & Schools Outreach

Over the years we have seen our schools outreach grow to be one of the largest of its kind in the country. So far we have visited over 150 schools and over 100,000 young people have been presented with the gospel.

We are involved in this outreach ministry every month of school term-time, and we believe this is a major contribution to Christian outreach work in Northern Ireland. Our long-term goal is to visit every school in Northern Ireland, both Protestant and Roman Catholic. We have also conducted schools outreaches in England and the Republic of Ireland

God has called us to work in partnership with churches to bring the gospel to young people in a way that they can understand. Working closely with local churches, a typical youth outreach programme consists of a week’s ministry in schools in a particular area, followed by a weekend meeting at which young people are given the opportunity to respond to the call of God. It has been a real thrill for us to see many young people commit their lives to Christ.

Logos Ministries’ Jesus Video Project (Northern Ireland)
As part of our ongoing schools outreach we have been distributing the Jesus video free of charge to every pupil in schools that registered to participate in our Jesus Video Project. Over forty schools have registered to be involved in the project resulting in around 25,000 videos being requested. This project is giving us a unique opportunity to present the gospel to thousands of young people in both Roman Catholic and Protestant schools.

Special Schools Outreach Events with Derick Bingham
In addition to our ongoing schools outreach, Derick Bingham has been lecturing on his book “A Voice Full of Money” on special one-day outreaches throughout Northern Ireland. In the lectures Derick has been giving a Christian response to the moral and ethical issues that Scott Fitzgerald raises in his novel “The Great Gatsby”. To coincide with our visit to a school, we distribute copies of “A Voice Full of Money” to as many students as request them.
